Joe was born in Syracuse, NY to Eileen Kilpatrick and Stephen Driscoll. He was the youngest of six siblings.
Joe graduated from West Genesee High School and SUNY Oswego before making Charlotte his new home over 20 years ago. Joe found much joy as a History teacher at Crestdale Middle School where he was much loved.
Joe is survived by his beloved daughter Sophia Marie, his stepchildren Estefania (George) and Juan Diego (Jessa), his father and step-mother Stephen and Michaeline Driscoll, four sisters, Anne Driscoll, Mary Driscoll, Joan (David) Charash, Colleen (Andrew) Leo, his brother Paul (Juanita) Driscoll, six nieces and a nephew, his life-long best friend Mike Cavallo, and his devoted dog Roo.
A passionate Syracuse Orange fan, Joe never forgot his roots. He instilled his love of music, history and Jeopardy in Sophia.
Joe's big heart, quick wit, love of people and life are already missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Joe’s life will be held on Saturday, April 27th, 2024 between 1:00-4:00 pm at the Camillus Elks Lodge, 6117 Newport Rd., Camillus NY 13031.
