He was the son of Joseph Martin Keniry and Gertrude Keniry and was born in Troy, NY. Joe grew up in Ft. Lauderdale where he graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Joe was an alumnus of Notre Dame, FSU and the University of Southern California and instilled the value of education in his children. His career was in accounting and treasury in several major cities.
Joe is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sarabeth Keniry, two children, Katie Trammell (Andrew) of Weddington, NC and Kristen (Perry) Vickery of Hingham, MA and four adored grandchildren, Caroline, Drew, Hudson and Grace as well as his sister, Mary Lou (Andy) Taintor of Naples, FL and several devoted nieces and nephews.
Family came first and Joe’s gentle and calming guidance and lifelong lessons will resonate for generations and are a testament to his profound impact on his family.
