

Born in the Philippines on September 6, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Guat Ben Chong Lim and Juliana Tan.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Benjamin Tan; a daughter, Dr. Antoinette R. Tan and son-in-law Kenneth Chen and two grandchildren, Annabel and Andrew Chen; brothers, Dr. Edgardo Tan, Manny, and Angelito Tan; a sister, Ellen Stillman; nieces and nephews, Rachael, EJ, and Jonathan Tan, Georgie and Georgette Stillman.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. Jaime Tan.
She worked as a registered nurse in New York City for over 20 years. During retirement she devoted her life to help take care of her two grandchildren. She was a loving and caring wife and mother, and a generous grandmother. She was an avid shopper and loved to travel. She will be missed by all.
A graveside committal service is scheduled at St. Gertrude Cemetery, 53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ, 07067 on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 10:30 am.
