June "Juney and Nana" Yvonne Davis

June was born in Cardiff, South Wales. She was the daughter of the late Anthony Kreigel and Alice Stroud Kreigel and was 1 of 5 sisters. June came to the United Stated with her Father while on vacation, where she met her husband, Gerald Wayne Davis in San Bernardino, California. They married in Dec. 1967 in Alaska, where Gerry was stationed in the Air Force.

Family was everything to June. She was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother “Nana”. She adored spending time with her Grandchildren, attending many sporting events over the years, shopping and sharing many wonderful dinners and holidays together. One of her favorite pastimes was just enjoying time spent in her backyard, her little “Haven”, alongside her husband Gerry and their beloved Welsh Corgi, Maggie.

June is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Gerald Wayne Davis, sons Dean Christopher Davis (Angie), Anthony Edgar Davis (Robin) and her cherished Grandchildren, Alexis McKenzie Davis, Hanah Nicole Davis, Kyle Christopher Davis, Taylor Elise Davis and Step Grandchildren, Chandler and Tyler Price.

A celebration of life will be held at The Davis Residence on July 30th at 6:30PM, friends and family will notified with further details. In Lieu of flowers or memorial gifts, please consider donating to ASPCA, Humane Society of Charlotte and The Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.
