Kathleen I Saylor

Kathleen was the 6th of 10 children born to James Franklin Isbell and Enzena (Smith)Isbell in Huntland, TN on January 21, 1926.

She is survived by her husband Leonard D. Saylor of almost 68 years, her daughter Kay(Mike) Bryant of Lake Wylie, S.C,

her sons Steve(Susan) of Taylorsville, NC and Charles(Joy) of Pelzer, SC, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sisters, Ruth Isbell Dawson of Pearland, TX, and Ann Isbell Scott of Brentwood, TN and brother-in-law Charles Smothers, of Franklin,TN and sister-in-law Ann Isbell of Rockledge, FL.

She graduated from Meredith College, Raleigh NC. She taught high School in Gastonia, NC.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Lake Wylie, SC and long time member of Derita Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC where she faithfully taught Sunday School

for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, studying her Bible, taking care of her beloved grandchildren, gardening and doing any work that would keep her outside.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 1:30 PM at McEwen Funeral Home in Sharon Memorial Park 5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212. Visitation to follow the service.
