Born on September 11, 1944, in the Bronx, New York, Kathleen’s life was filled with love, strength, and deep devotion to her family.
After growing up in the Bronx, Kathleen and her late husband, Frank Thompson, made their home in New Jersey, where they built a lifetime of memories together. She recently moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, to live with her daughter, Jeanine Thompson, bringing her warmth and humor to a new home surrounded by family.
Kathleen was a proud and dedicated employee of ShopRite Supermarkets, where she worked for more than 30 years. Known for her hard work, kindness, and friendly spirit, she formed many lasting friendships throughout her career.
Family was the center of Kathleen’s world. She was a devoted grandmother to Casey Robinson, Aliyah Watts, and Nye’ Robinson, and a cherished great-grandmother to Nimaah Dugan and Anari Dugan. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose laughter and love brought her endless happiness.
Kathleen will be remembered for her caring heart, her strong will, and the way she always put family first. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and resilience that will live on through all who knew her.
Her family and friends will deeply miss her presence, but they take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband, Frank, and watching over them with peace and love.
