Kathryn B Boring

Born November 29, 1916 in Baltimore, Maryland, Mrs. Boring was the youngest child of the late Robert Wilson Boughman and Rena Lockerman Boughman.

Her husband, George Myers Boring; daughter, Barbara Dale Boring Moore; brother, Reese Bougham; sister, Ruth Leonard; and brother, John Boughman preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son, Bruce Michael Boring and his wife, Paulette of Jacksonville, FL; her son-in-law, Ray Moore of Matthews, NC; three grandchildren, Cindy Wray and husband David, Bruce Michael Boring, Jr., and Christie Baker and husband Jason; and her great grandchildren, Renee and Jamie Boring, Rachel Wray, and Tristan, Trace and Troy Baker.

A service to celebrate Mrs. Boring’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 23rd in the chapel of the Sharon Memorial Park Mausoleum. Her family will receive friends briefly at the close of the service.

Mrs. Boring’s family expresses heartfelt thanks for the devoted care given to her over the years by the staff and people of Brookdale Place at Weddington Park, and also a big thank-you to Hospice for the wonderful care given her in her final months.
