Larry worked hard to provide for his family. He was in the computer technician field with several companies, including 3M and Pelton and Crane, which he retired from.
In his spare time, he was an outdoor sportsman and had a love for hunting and fishing. He and JoAnn would take the children to the beach annually and, they spent most of their time fishing either off the piers or beaches. When he had property on Lake Norman, it was a tradition to have a 4th of July celebration which included as many as 50 people and a huge fireworks display. In addition, he loved to rebuild computers, watch NASCAR and wrestling.
