Lena Mae Landers

A native of Kingsport, TN, Mrs. Landers was born to the late Kelly Larkin and Thelma Hammond Larkin on January 29, 1938. She was a member of Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church where she taught preschool Sunday school for over 25 years. Mrs. Landers had a passion for teaching children about God and before retirement, she enjoyed managing the candy store and being known as “The Candy Lady”. She was a loving and devoted mother. Mrs. Landers was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Everett Landers in 2005.

Mrs. Landers is survived by her daughters, Cheryl and Andrea Landers both of Charlotte; brother, Ed Larkin of FL; sister, Anna Weiner; several nieces and nephews.
