Letty Elizabeth (Smith) LeMoing, (56) passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, in Chattanooga, TN after a sudden illness. Ms. LeMoing was born in Charlotte, NC on September 12, 1961 to William S. "Bill" Smith and Joyce M. Smith. Letty grew up in Charlotte and Lake Wylie, SC and later moved to Myrtle Beach, SC where she lived for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Heather Elizabeth Smith, her grandson, Matthew Sean Cooling, her mother Joyce M. Smith and her sister, Cassandra M. Cook and husband, TJ. Letty is also survived by nephews, Tristan and Jarred Cook as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Bill and her brother, William D. "Corky" Smith.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Durham Memorial Baptist Church, 1601 Toddville Rd, Charlotte, NC. Visitation will be held at 12:00 Noon with the services commencing at 1:00 PM.
