Mrs. Thomas, 79, of Fort Mill, SC went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 3, 2014. She was born in Union County, North Carolina to the late Ila and Edmond Smith.
Lillian worked as a secretary for General Electric for 31 years. She was also a member of Tega Cay Baptist Church. Lillian loved to garden, crochet, knit, and travel.
Lillian is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Herbert Thomas; her sons Greg and his wife Maria; Victor and his wife Susan and grandchildren Alex and Maggie; sisters Vivian Price, Doris Preslar, and Virginia Mullis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, July 7, 2014 at Tega Cay Baptist Church, 1875 Gold Hill Rd, Tega Cay, SC 29708, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Sunset Gardens at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tega Cay Baptist Church.
