Linda Ann Edwards

Linda was born on November 15, 1941, to the late Clarence and Bertha Stringer. She married the love of her life George, and together they had four children.

A true Proverbs 31 Woman, she lived her life as a faithful servant, with a loving heart and a beautiful soul. Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing Linda is now in the presence of the Lord, transformed by His glory, as written in her favorite verse, II Corinthians 3:18, "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord."

She is now joyfully reunited in heaven with her cherished husband, George Kenneth Edwards, her dear parents, Clarence and Bertha Stringer, and her beloved sister, Brenda F. Stringer.

Linda is survived by her children, Vicki Byrum, Angela James, Sherri Edwards and Terri Edwards; grandchildren, Stephanie Cichocki, Amber Martinez, Toria Byrum, Daniel James, Jeremy Edwards, Ashton Colon, Brayden Colon; and great grandchildren, Iliyana Martinez, Adalee Martinez, Austin Cichocki, Klaire Cichocki, Spencer Cichocki, Isabella Martinez, Desmond Martinez, Halley Hutchrum, Kenneth Edwards, Jeremiah Edwards, Evelyn Edwards.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 12, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Harvest A Community Church, 826 W Charlotte Ave, Mount Holly, NC 28120. Funeral service will immediately follow. Linda will be laid to rest at Gethsemane Cemetery and Memorial Gardens, 1504 W Sugar Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28262.
