

Linda Jean Baucom Williams of Charlotte was born December 26, 1947. She was a graduate of West Mecklenburg High School and American Business and Fashion. At age 12, she gave her life to Christ and enjoyed working with youth and singing in the choir. She was employed by James B. Johnson, DDS early in life. Upon the arrival of her firstborn in 1970 she became a homemaker with a love of cooking , sewing, ceramics, and cake decorating. Her most treasured role was that of being a mother. Cancer took her body on July 30, 2012, but Jesus took her soul. She wanted the world to know her death was not the result of unanswered prayers but the plan of her loving Father. Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents, William Horace and Beulah Baucom, Plato and Donna Hull and the father of her children, Wayne Williams. She is survived by her parents, Howard and Eugenia Baucom, brothers, Bill and Bobby. Three children, Wes, Brad, and Carla, grandchildren, Wayne, Lindsey, Michael, Chris, Wesley, Josh and Leah.
