Lisa was born on October 18, 1974 in Columbus, OH and spent the first part of her life there before moving to Charlotte. Lisa graduated from Briggs High School in 1993 and Franklin University with a degree in Human Resources in 1997. She used her degree to establish a great career, spending the last 20 years at Continental Tire. Lisa was a hard and loyal employee who could be depended on.
Lisa’s true love was her family and friends. She leaves behind her husband and best friend, John and two wonderful daughters, Meredith (12) and Colleen (11). Lisa is also survived by her mother, Joyce McKitrick of Columbus, OH; brother, Brent McKitrick and his wife Sarah of Canal Winchester, OH; brother-in-law, Joseph Reilly and wife Kelly of Fort Mill, SC; sister-in-law, Sheila Jackson and husband Michael of Ridgefield, CT; and mother-in-law, A. Jane Reilly, of Fall River, MA. Lisa was also a loving aunt to Leah McKitrick, Charlie and Beau Reilly, and Reilly and Timmy Jackson.
Lisa had a passion for reading and was involved in many book clubs. The book clubs fostered lifelong friendships. Lisa enjoyed running, walking, socializing with friends and family, spending time at the beach, traveling with friends, and mostly watching her daughters participate in activities.
Lisa was a smart, loving, and enthusiastic individual and it shined through on everything she did.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Phillip McKitrick.
Lisa with be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
