

Mrs. Robinson, 88, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital – Matthews.
She was born November 30, 1923 in Mint Hill, NC, to the late Frank and Burl Love Dulin and attended Bain School in Mint Hill.
On August 30, 1942, Lois married Gerald K. Robinson from Altoona, PA, who was stationed at Morris Field in Charlotte.
In the years that followed she became an avid bridge player and made many long time friends who shared this interest. Sardis Presbyterian Church was the family church in this period.
When her husband retired after a career with Southern Bell, Lois began an antique business in early American Furniture. The two travelled the eastern state extensively in search of rare items and in doing antique shows, until illness forced closure to this activity.
The Robinson family will gather to greet friends Monday, October 15, 2012 from 1:00 PM until 1:45 Pm at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon. A service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 2:00 PM with The Reverend Hunter Roddey officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn East Cemetery.
Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by elder son, Daniel; she is survived by her husband of 69 years, Gerald K. Robinson; her son, Kenneth Robinson of Charlotte, NC; also surviving are three sisters and a brother: Dorothy, Mary Francis, Elizabeth and Bill.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church – Television Ministry, 200 West Trade Street, Charlotte, NC 28202, which Lois enjoyed on Sunday at home.
