

“Boots”
Mrs. McFall, 89, of Charlotte, died on April 22, 2012 at The Carriage Club Charlotte. “Boots” McFall was born on April 27, 1922 in Ellerbe, NC and was one of ten children born to the late Arthur Hall McCall and Letha Anderson McCall.
Before retiring, after 20 years of service from First Union National Bank-Plaza Branch, Boots worked for Watson’s Watchman Service and S & W Cafeteria, both in accounting positions. Mrs. McFall was a long time member of both Steele Creek and Selwyn Avenue Presbyterian Churches.
Mrs. McFall was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Mr. Billie J. McFall, and family members, James Edward McCall, Clifton H. McCall, Corrinne M. Pusser, Edna M. Gaddy, Cecil A. McCall, Billy G. McCall, and Sadie M. Maurer.
Mrs. McFall is survived by her son, David McFall and his wife, Ann, of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Marie M. Blue (John), of Southern Pines, NC and Reba M. Birdsall (Norm), of Winston-Salem, NC; grandsons, Larry McFall (Rebecca), of Granbury, TX, Billy McFall (Quinn), of Durham, NC and Matthew McFall (Shannon), of Boone, NC; and four great-grandchildren, Katherine, Logan, Will, and Colin McFall.
A service to celebrate the life of Louise McCall McFall will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Harry & Bryant Company, “Chapel in the Oaks”, 500 Providence Road, Charlotte. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
