LV worked in the trucking industry, driving for Thurston Motor Lines, Brown Transport and Harris Teeter, winning numerous Safe Driving Awards, until retirement. He was a Navy veteran who served his country during the Korean War.
LV is survived by his sons, Max and Dean Boykin, grandchildren Jodie Boykin Villeneuve and Jake Boykin, five great grandsons and his sister-in-law, Marie Boykin.
He was predeceased by his wife, Susie McKeel Boykin.
Service will be held Monday, March 23, 2026 at 1:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Services at Sharon Memorial Park Chapel and internment will be at 2:00 PM at Sharon Memorial Park with the Reverend Jeffery Rushing officiating.
The family is being service by McEwen Funeral Services.
