Malcolm was born May 1, 1941 in Pineville, Louisiana son of Merritt Luneau and Robbie Ryder Luneau. He joined the Marine Corp. in 1960 serving for 10 years. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam. In civilian life Malcolm worked in the automotive industry for 36 years until his retirement.
A Service to celebrate the life of Malcolm Luneau will be held at 1:00pm Sunday, March 13, 2011 at McEwen Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Michael Flynn, Chaplain for Presbyterian Hospice. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. The Luneau family will greet friends Saturday evening, March 12, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at McEwen Charlotte Chapel.
Malcolm is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Marjorie A. Luneau; daughter Michelle L. Lundy and her husband Michael; Grandchildren Morgan Lundy & Reagan Lundy; Sisters Mary Ledbetter & Linda Finn; and a number of nieces & nephews. Malcolm was predeceased by brothers Merritt, Robert & David Luneau.
