Margaret Lee Dodd

She was born on December 7, 1942 in Belmont, North Carolina, the daughter of James Homer Dodd and Nan Lee Broome Dodd.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded by her brother, William Ray Dodd.

She attended high school in Belmont, North Carolina and then Montreat Junior College in Montreat, North Carolina. She worked for Eastern Airlines in the VIP Club in Washington, D.C., where she met many politicians and celebrities. While working at Eastern Airlines, she traveled extensively to many exotic places. After the airline went bankrupt she moved to Charlotte to be near family and resided at Franciscan Terrace Condos. She had a special love for animals and photography and her beloved cat, Romeo. For the final five years of her life, she resided at the Cadence Senior Living of Mint Hill.

Margaret is survived by her sister, Charlotte Payne, nephew, William Edward Gibson and niece, Lynn Dodd Hill.

A private graveside service for the family will be held at a later date.
