Seemed like every time I saw Marilyn outside at her house or when she was out shopping she would always have a smile and ask how I was doing. Such a kind lady. She will be missed greatly.

So sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing...she always had a smile for me.

I worked with Mrs. Howell at Carolinas Medical Center.Everytime I saw her she had a smile on her face. She had a joyful spirirt and was always helpful.You knew she was a child a God, because she God's peace in her. She will be missed. Prayers go out to her family and friends.

Marilyn, my heart is sad because you left us so suddenly, per our conversation about retiring, I only hoped that you'd be able to retire soon  and go home to enjoy your loving family, but God had a better plan for you which the two of us didn't know at the time we were planning. Marilyn, you were one of those very special people that God placed in my path to communicate with not only work related but personal. I remember  our clean fun and  early morning laughter, and despite how the day turned out you were always there to make sure everything turned out well at the front lobby desk (CMC). I remember when you would go on vacation I felt very selfish because I didn't want you to go. When things got rough you were there you were a true ambassador for CMC and you truly gave your very best in all that you did. Marilyn, I woke up early one morning with you on my mind and I sang a song just for you (Precious Lord take my hand)and I some know that your spirit heard it. I read once that a friend  should always have a song in their heart and when the one can't say the words the friend will sing the song for them. Marilyn, I will always keep memories of you in my heart. Love Eunice

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

 Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
 Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
 That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
 God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

 It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

 God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not  be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I so much appreciate Donnie calling to let me know.  Marilyn was a wonderful person, and I plan to see her soon in Heaven.  I've been praying for comfort and strength for all of you.

Marilyn  and I worked together for the past 5 years at Carolinas Medical Center Guest Services dept. and developed a very special bond between us,  sharing recipes and gardening. Marilyn was totally committed to her job and  always gave 100 percent. Marilyn often expressed a profound love for God and her family. Marilyn will certainly be missed but, I know that the angels in heaven are rejoicing having her there among them. May God give each of you peace and comfort during this most difficult time. (Marilyn, you don't have to shop for the White Hydrangeas plants now, because I am sure they are already there in heaven with you.) love you Eunice.

Marilyn Howell was the perfect example of a Christian woman - loving and kind to all.  She will be missed by me as well as a host of relatives and friends.  God bless you, Marilyn.

What can you say about a Godly women who always put God, Family, Friends and strangers first before herself?  Everyone will remember her for her smile and her loving heart and beautiful soul.  I will remember all those characteristics about her but I will remember her simple hugs and amazing food she would cook for church potlucks.  Man could she cook up a storm in the kitchen.  I loved listening her tell me stories of my dad when I was younger, soaking up every word and story line she spoke.  She was always there for our church softball games and was always positive even when we lost. I know she hope and loved her family dearly and was proud of them all.  I pray that she is always smiling that smile and giving big ol hugs.  Our prayers are with the Howell's to keep them strong and in God's hands. Mrs.Marilyn say hi to dad for me and we will see you again very soon, I will miss you

So many memories with this wonderful woman.  I remember as a child having people from church come to our house for games,eating and visiting and Marilyn was such a great and vibrant person to be around. My beautiful cousin Marilyn Jean, Jeannie to me, who was as beautiful inside as outside. She had the sweetest smile and the kindest heart. I will miss you. May God bless your family. I worked with Marilyn at CMC and will always remember her 'good morning' smile & welcome when I arrived at work.  I remember telling her that it was something I looked forward to each day.  She will be missed; but, I know that she is with our heavenly Father.

Didn't get to bond with you as I would love to. But from all indication you have done a wonderful job with your children as I grow close to your family through your daughter. May your soul rest in peace
