Marsha was born and grew up in Charlotte, where her faith and values were rooted in the Lutheran Church, and she carried those beliefs throughout her life. She cared for her late mother and her late husband with love, strength, and compassion.
She graduated from North Mecklenburg High School and Central Piedmont Community College before a life time career with Piedmont Energy.
Marsha was a fun-loving, caring, and selfless person who dedicated her life to taking care of others. She had a smile that could light up any room and a laugh that made everyone feel welcomed and loved. Her kindness and warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Marsha valued her family, extended family and friends, and was the “Cousin” who was always keeping everyone up to date on everything.
She cherished her family and friends above all else and was happiest when bringing everyone together for laughter and good times. Marsha took great pride in her Southern roots and her North Carolina heritage. She was a devoted fan of the Carolina Panthers, loved the music of Jimmy Buffett, found great joy and peace at the Kure Beach house, and dearly loved all her “fur babies” over the years.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents Margaret “Mama Jo” and Morrice Dulin and her loving husband, Andy Martin.
She is survived by her brother, Jeff Dulin (Sandy), and their children and grandchildren; and her late husband’s children, Trey Martin (Tracy) and Paige Martin Whitson (Luke), Paige’s daughters, Jade Wiatrowski and Ava Wiatrowski, and her beloved companion Tim Fullmer.
