Martha Moss Gore, 78 years old, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 24, 2016. Martha was born March 8, 1937 in Richmond County (Rockingham) to the late Thomas K and Aleene Kissiah Moss. Martha was preceded in death by her husband Gregory A Gore Sr. Martha retired from AT&T and Lucent Technologies.
Martha leaves behind five children: Debra Gore Friday, G Allen Gore Jr, Steven Gore, Janet Gore Bosworth, Susan Gore Goff; nine grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Martha also leaves four brothers and three sisters in both North and South Carolina.
Services will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 12:30pm in the Paul Helton Chapel at Forest Lawn West. Receiving will be one hour prior, at 11:30am. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
