“Maw Maw”

Mary Jo Green was called home to be with the Lord March 24, 2015 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. She was born April 16, 1925 in McCaysville, GA. She was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Mary Jo ran an in home daycare for over 40 years where she cared for and loved many children as if they were her own. She was a devoted Eastern Star member for over 35 years.

Mary Jo is survived by her husband of 68 years Zeb, her daughter Barbara Pressley and husband Luke of Indian Land, SC and son Michael “Zeb” Green Sr. and wife Sandi of Charlotte, NC, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jack and Jimmy Dyer, daughter Sandra Lee Green, and sons Daniel Stephen Green and Terry Wayne Green and grandson Grant Weldon Green.

A funeral service will be held for Mary Jo at 12 noon on Friday, March 27, 2015 at Belair United Methodist Church, 8095 Shelley Mullis Road, Indian Land, SC 29707. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at 3 PM at Charlotte Memorial Gardens, 7632 Hood Road Charlotte, NC 28215.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the General Fund at Belair United Methodist Church 8095 Shelley Mullis Road Indian Land, SC 29707.
