Mary Bolen Greene

Mrs. Greene was born in Spartanburg, SC on June 17, 1925 to the late Ryan C. Bolen and Beulah Fender Bolen. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, John C. Bolen and Dr. Ryan C. Bolen; husband, Wilton (Woody) Greene and daughter, Donnie Foote.

Mary is survived by children: Dr. T.E. (Tem) Morgan and wife Lynne of Myrtle Beach, SC; Kay Long and husband Jim of York, SC; Rosemary Goodman of Charlotte, NC; Dr. D.T (Buddy) Morgan and wife Sam of Calabash, NC; Roger Greene and wife Sue of Charlotte, NC; Sandy Montefusco and husband Mike of Fort Worth, TX; thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great- grandchildren and numerous grand-pets that loved her dearly.

Mary Greene was a graduate of Central High School in Charlotte. She worked for American Handicrafts/Tandy Leather and also John Bolen Engineers. She was a member of Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church for over 60 years and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was dedicated to her family and friends. She exemplified the true nature of a caring mother, grandmother and friend. Mary loved to travel and spend time with family. She was a friend to everyone she met and taught others to be the same. She will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank all her loving, caring and supportive relatives and friends.

comfort and care during her final days.

The funeral service will be held at 11am, Saturday February 16th 2013 at Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church with visitation one hour before at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pritchard Memorial Baptist Church, 1117 South Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28203.
