

Mary was raised in Belmont, NC and lived in Charlotte, NC for over 35 years.
Mary was a member at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Charlotte, for over 30 years. She was an active participant in her Sunday school class and was involved in the Room in the Inn missions for 13 years. Along with that Mary also volunteered outside of the church with the Loaves and Fishes organization.
Mary was survived by her dear husband Larry W. Morris of 36 years, her son Trey Morris, his wife Sarah & grandson Jackson, stepdaughter Leigh Anne (Morris) Stiller & grandsons Logan & Hayden, Daughter-in-law Felicia Morris and sister Nancy Hunter. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother, and stepson Roy ‘Danny’ Morris. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mary was a loving wife, mother and Gram and was cherished by all that met her. She never met a stranger and would do anything and everything she could, no questions asked. Mary was also an avid shopper and would often spend hours “getting lost” in Kohl’s. She also worked in the insurance industry with BB&T for over 20 years.
Services will be held at St. Andrews United Methodist Church,1901 Archdale Dr., Charlotte, NC 28210 with a Visitation Friday, November 2, 2018 that will begin at 1pm and the Memorial Service will be at 3pm.
