Mrs. Walker, of Charlotte, died Monday, July 27, 2015 at her home. Born January 30, 1924 in Lincolnton, she was a daughter of the late George Randall and Mamie Hovis Randall. She graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and completed advance studies at Margaret Hague Hospital (NJ). Mrs. Walker was an avid reader.
The family will receive friends 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM Saturday at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Henry; two sons, Hank and wife, Cheryl, of Charlotte and Robert and wife, Marlene, of Boca Raton , FL; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Mace and husband, Ken, of Lincolnton.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
