Myra M. Bremer

Mrs. Myra M. Bremer, 95, of Sharon Towers Presbyterian Home at Charlotte, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, died on June 16, 2011.

Mrs. Bremer was a graduate of Miami University of Ohio, where she was an active member of Delta Gamma Sorority. Her devotion to family led to her uprooting her life from Cincinnati to Charlotte to care for her grandchildren. She was known by all for her warm spirit, ready smile, unremitting optimism and sunny demeanor.

She was the beloved wife of Howard F. Bremer, who preceded her in death on August 22, 1996. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Bremer Slotkin.

Mrs. Bremer is survived by her son, David Bremer and wife, Ellie of Richmond, VA, and grandchildren, Devon Bremer, Tracy Slotkin, Matthew Slotkin and Leslie Slotkin Riggs.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2011 in the Chapel at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1000 East Morehead Street, Charlotte, NC 28204.
