Nancy was born in Charlotte, NC (Mecklenburg County) on April 11, 1931 to Floyd W. Elliott, Sr., and Alexandria McCachren Elliott (both deceased).
Nancy was a loving and devoted wife for 70 years to Winfred Joseph Potter (deceased). She was a wonderful mother to Floyd Joseph (Tad) Potter, Theresa Potter Graham and Lori Potter Simpson (deceased). She has four grandchildren: Mack Graham, Kate Graham, Joseph Reinhart and Alexandra Reinhart. She has one great-grandchild: Theodore Graham. Nancy has four siblings: Agnes Goodman (deceased), Mary McIntosh, Floyd W. Elliott, Jr., and Lynda Springs (deceased).
Nancy was a lifelong resident of Charlotte, NC. She retired from AT&T (Southern Bell/BellSouth) as well as from NCNB. She had many activities over the years including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, church choir, Sunday School teacher and square dancing clubs. She was a member of St. Luke UMC and Hawthorne Lane UMC.
