Nancy Catherine Robinson

Our beloved Nancy Catherine Robinson, 72, of York, SC , (previously of Plantsville, CT and West Mifflin, PA) left this earthly world to be with her loving Savior on March 29, 2012. Nancy was born August 17, 1939 in Duquesne, PA to the late Robert and Marge Thompson Snyder. Nancy worked for United Technologies Pratt & Whitney division until her retirement in 1998. She was very active in her church, no matter where she lived, having been a member at Grace United Methodist Church in Southington, CT and First Presbyterian Church in Duquesne, PA before becoming a regular attendee at Zoar United Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC. Nancy was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and never missed a game. She enjoyed arts and crafts and studying the Bible but most of all she adored her family, particularly her grandchildren, “Nana’s pride and joy.”

Nancy is preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 years, Ernest “Dean” Robinson. She is survived by her children, Jodi Robinson of York, SC; Heidi (Michael) Johnson and Robby (Alicia) Robinson all of Plantsville, CT; grandchildren, Eric and Bret Hafford of York, SC, Megan Hafford of Rock Hill, SC and Erin and Dean Robinson of Planstville, CT; her sister and brother-in-law, Leah and Darrell Robinson and nieces, Melanie Robinson, and Lesa and Stormy Rudolph all of Beverly Hills, FL.

The family will receive friends at 2:00 pm on Sunday April 1 at Zoar United Methodist Church, 13611 Zoar Road, Charlotte, NC 28278 followed by a 3:00 pm funeral service at the church.
