Olin Lee Williams

Pastor Williams, age 90, of Charlotte, died January 2, 2016 at his home. Born January 8, 1925 in Union County, he was a son of the late Daniel Williams and Rebecca Green Williams. He served in the U.S. Marines during World War II. Pastor Williams served for 18 years as minister of Shiloh Baptist Church. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church - Indian Trail.

The family will receive friends 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 6th at McEwen Funeral Service - Derita Chapel. The service to celebrate the life of Pastor Olin Lee Williams will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Lee Hammel, officiating. Interment will be in Charlotte Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include son, Scott; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Caitlyn; brother, Brad Williams; and sister, Grace Stegall. In addition to his parents, Pastor Williams was preceded in death by his wife, Betty King Williams, on February 9, 2014; and seven siblings.
