Patricia "Trisha" McGarvey Duffy

Born February 21, 1956, in Niagara Falls, New York, daughter of Betty Jane Scalzo and William Cygnor. Trisha graduated from St. Leo College in St. Leo Florida in 1978 and held various positions in the retail business developing her talents to start her own business. She was the owner of TD Design home décor, and a visual design consultant for the Southern Nest in Indian Land, South Carolina.

The joy of Trisha’s life was her family. She married her husband J. Kevin on October 10,1981 and settled in Charlotte. She adored her daughter Caroline, who arrived in 1991. Trisha was very active in Caroline’s activities at Charlotte Catholic High School and Auburn University over the years. Trisha enjoyed her mountain time at “The Cabin’’ in Banner Elk, North Carolina.

Trisha is survived by her loving husband J. Kevin Duffy of 40 years, her daughter Caroline Duffy Brown, and son-in-law David McCain Brown. She also survived by her sisters Elsie Bose (Bob) of Plano Texas, Beth Ringo (Bob) of Hudson Ohio, and Mary Miller (Steve) of St. Leo, Florida.

Due to the current pandemic, services will be private for the family only. A life celebration for Trisha will be held at a future date.
