Pauline Farmer Landers "Polly" CHARLOTTE - Polly Landers, 88, of Charlotte passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Polly was the daughter of the late Mr. Garland Eugene Farmer, Sr. and Mrs. Gertrude Ramsey Farmer of Marshall, NC. She was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church. She worked as an accountant at numerous places, including Vincent Realty, City Chevrolet, Southern Engineering and the last being Efrids Interiors. "My precious Mom lost her battle to cancer on Wednesday, She was my hero! She fought harder and lived longer than even her doctors expected. My Mom was a wonderful wife, a devoted Mother and was my "bestest" friend!" She is survived by her daughter, Gail Landers Mize and her husband, Ken of SC. She was predeceased by her husband Ellison Landers , sisters Joy Veze of CA, Mary Stroupe of FL, Ruth Mueller of CA and her brother Garland Farmer, Jr. of NC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Friday October 26, 2012 at Sharon United Methodist Church, 4411 Sharon Road, Charlotte, NC. The Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 pm with the Reverend Nancy Campbell officiating. The interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery.
