At the age of 14, he arrived in the United States and studied with IBM, eventually working for the Marcal company where he trained under the tutelage of the owner of the company.

Eventualmente, su esposa, Gloria Zuniga, y el, abrieron la compania, FrutiMex Produce, que prospero y les permitio a la pareja crecer 17 negocios tras tres differentes estados: Nueva Jersey, Norte Carolina, y Sur Carolina.

Eventually, his wife, Gloria Zuniga, and him opened the company, Frutimex Produce, which prospered and allowed the couple to build 17 businesses within three different states: New Jersey, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Pedro's joy was his wife and his two children: Jazmin Zuniga, and Robert Zuniga. On February 8th, 2017, the biggest joy of Pedro was born, his grandson: Mason Zuniga.

A man with unstoppable strength, Pedro fought sickness, worries, and sadness in order to triumph over all of these evils for the purpose of being with his family.

The familia will never be the same without Pedro, but his wife, his children, and his grandson will always be complete with the memory of the beauty that was Pedro Zuniga.

Mr. Zuniga's family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 16th at McEwen Funeral Home - Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road in Charlotte. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 17th in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
