Peggy J. Stegall, age 77, of Harrisburg passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at The Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born December 31, 1933 in Durham, North Carolina the daughter of the late Lubie B. Jones and Eugenia P. Jones. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Starnes and Gwendolyn Jones.
Mrs. Stegall enjoyed listening to music and time spent with her family and friends.
Surviving are her daughters, Debbie Stegall and Denise Cook and husband Lee Cook; granddaughter, Ashley Cook; sisters, Beverly Chapman, Pat Lee and Barbara Whitlock; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 30, 2011 at McEwen Funeral Service Charlotte Chapel. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park.
A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
