Phillip Aldebert Pratt Jr.

Phillip Pratt, 68, of Charlotte, died on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He was born on April 22, 1943 in Lockport, NY to Phillip Sr. and Emma Eifert Pratt. He attended DeSales Catholic High School in Lockport and graduated in 1962. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. Phillip worked for General Motors and after 35 years retired. He was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church and a member of the ACES also at St. Vincent. Mr. Pratt was an avid bowler and loved to square dance.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Pratt of Charlotte, NC; 2 daughters Suzanne Pratt and Shelly Fabian and her husband Lou also of Charlotte, NC; 2 grandchildren, Kyle and Miranda Fabian both of Charlotte, NC; 2 sisters Dorothy and her husband Ken Hill of Buffalo, NY and Pauline Demmin of Lockport, NY as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:00 am at St Vincent Catholic Church, 6828 Old Reid Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210 with Rev. Joshua Voitus celebrant. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. McEwen Funeral Service Pineville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
