Mr. Maynor was a former member of Thomasboro Presbyterian Church and a charter member of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School teacher and Elder Emeritus. He was also a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class.
He was a proud veteran of the US Navy and a retiree from Morrison Concrete Company. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and neighbor.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Polly Butler Maynor; son, Ralph Edward Maynor, III and wife Janice; grandsons, Bobby Maynor, Russell Maynor and wife, Adrienne; 2 great grandchildren, Bailey Catherine Maynor and Ryden Edward Maynor.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, October 14, 2013 in Forest Lawn West Cemetery with Dr. Jeffrey Pinkston officiating. Military honors will follow the service.
