

Randy was born November 26, 1934, in Manhattan, New York to Clyde and Helen Talbert. Predeceased by sister and brothers, Ernestine, Ulis (Bubba), Sonny, and Thomas. Also predeceased his wife Clara Fair married on January 14, 1989 until her time of death and Lucille Pinckney married from 1956 to 1987.
Randy graduated from Prospect School #40 in the Bronx, NY in 1950 and enlisted in the USARMY in 1953 were he received the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Metal and the Medal of Good Conduct. Randy retired from UPS on April 1, 2009 and was a member of the Elks Ideal lodge #470 in Englewood, NJ.
Randy took pride in being a sharp and dapper dresser topped off with a hat, he didn’t wear jeans, didn’t like them. Randy never knew a stranger he would make whomever he met feel that they were a part of his party. Randy loved to have a good time, and would help everyone to have a good time too. As a young man Randy was a musician and played the drums in a jazz band, he was also an art enthusiast and amateur artist. He also loved his “shoot um ups”.
Randy is survived by his sister Anita Jones-husband (Otto Jones), sons Glenn, Andy, Marcus, stepson Ray Fair-wife (Donna), daughters LaVerne McNeil-husband (Bryant), Tonda Talbert-husband (Ron Abney), stepdaughter Pat Lloyd-husband (Otis) sister-in-law Georgia Mae Little, and daughter-in-law Shirley Webster. Grandchildren: LaRon, Keon, Shani (Luther), Ebone (Keith), Samarea (Bradley) and Dwayne (Guanea). Great-grandchildren: JaRae, Mark, Jaray, CJ, Taylor, Emilie, Deshon, Jamilla, Fabion, Kecierra, Myley, Kyleigh, Syesha, LaDanian, Mr. Man, Dwayne Jr., Payton and one on the way (Josiah). Niece Patricia Tolbert and Nephew Thomas Raynard and a host of other nephews, nieces, friends and his beloved pet Mitsy.
