

Born in Weaubleau, MO on March 31, 1954, he was a son of the late Charles Elson Wilson and Eva Jane Lightle Wilson.
A member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans, Randy served with the US Marine Corp and US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict receiving Journeyman Degrees in both electronics and machine operations.
Randy retired as Material Handler for the BP Corporation.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Jackson; two children, Katie Haynes and her husband, Charlie of Overland Park, KS and Devin Wilson of Kansas City, MO; four step-children, Jennie, Julie, John and Justin Jackson all of Blue Springs, MO; six siblings, Rispie E. Riffe and her husband, Curtis of Lee’s Summit, MO, Laura Alice Owens and her husband, Ed of Philadelphia, TN, Frances Crew and her husband, George of Advance, NC, Evelyn Joyce Bradenburg and her husband, Cliff of Blue Springs, MO, Janey Chase and her husband, Allen of Houlton, KS and Roger David Wilson and his wife, Diane of N. Kansas City, MO; 6 of the world’s best grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Eugene Wilson.
Funeral services are planned for 11 am Monday, January 25, 2016 at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd., Charlotte, NC.
Burial with full military honors will be provided at Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.
