Born in Wagram, NC on December 23, 1938, Louise was a daughter of the late Jimmie and Bertha Currie Parker and an avid horticulturalist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, John Paul Barwick Sr., who passed May 25, 2016.
Surviving are her children, Jackie Snead and husband, Bill of Charleston, SC and John P. Barwick Jr. and wife, Kristin of Mooresville, NC; two sisters, Joyce Barrow and husband, Charles and Dianne Hubbard and husband, Michael all of Rayford, NC, one aunt, Betty Ginn of Fayetteville, NC; four grandchildren, Morgan Viars, Jimmy Houser, Paul Barwick and Jacob Barwick; and a great grandson, Franklin Houser.
Friends may visit Thursday April 6, 2017 from 1 to 2 pm at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd., Charlotte, NC 28212. Memorial services are planned for 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Cynthia Garman officiating.
