Greg and I are so saddened to hear of the news of Vann's passing.  We send our love and condolences to the whole family.  He was a wonderful person and we are so honored to say we knew him.

Stunned today is an understatement. Vann meant as much as anyone did to me and many others during our formative years at Carolina.Always there for his friends. Spent a lot of good times together which brings a smile as I reminisce.All good my friend, take rest and comfort for all your good work.

Spent a lot of time with Vann during my UNC days with fellow friend Chris Hart (aka Ozob). Good times and sorry I did not see him much after that. He was a great guy and will be missed

I only met Vann in 2012, and later had the opportunity to work with him. He was a friend, and simply one of the kindest people I've known. I will miss him.

I was very sad to hear the news about Vann, a great ATO brother at UNC. Godspeed. May you have a permanent front row seat where the Tarheels are always champs.

I am so saddened by the sudden loss of Vann.  May your memories of him get you through this time of sadness and may God grant you peace.

Vann and I worked together at Williams Appraisers in Raleigh. Vann was a great guy and we all loved working with him. Tricia and I are saddened by the loss.

Dear Stephanie,  I am so saddened for you on the untimely loss of your son...I just got the news from New Friends. I would definitely have come to his service but am leaving for Michigan tomorrow for my nephew's wedding. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I miss seeing you.

My heart is broken for you.  The natural order of life has been interrupted by Vann's untimely death.
From all that I read, he was quite an accomplished and well-liked young 
man.  I know you shall miss his presence for the remainder of your life, as compared to a hole in your heart and soul.  Take care.

Great friend from School. Facebook reconnected us and I'm glad  it did. You will be missed my friend.

I met Vann at the Income and Advanced Concepts & Case Studies class in 2013.  We had lunch at Capra's Deli.  He liked the place so much we went there twice.  It was fun hanging out with him and telling him about going "down the shore".  He got a kick out of that Jersey expression.  I am very sad we lost him so soon.  

Very sad to see him taken from us so young.  Vann was one of he pleasantest, most popular and  highest quality members of our former Williams Appraisers team in Raleigh. A true gentleman in every sense. Steve Williams

My condolences to the family. We used to work together in Raleigh, back in 2001-2003. Vann was always smiling, even when working on things over the phone, you could hear his smile.

Vann pledged at ATO with me and 16 other Brothers at UNC. He will be missed by all. He was a very smart witty friend we loved. Vann made the world  much better being here. His heart was in the right place and his mind was always a step ahead. I would like to wish sincere condolences to Charlie and the entire Blankenship family.
