Robert Boettger

Robert P. Boettger (Bob), age 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 12, 2017 in his home in Charlotte, NC. Bob had resided in Dothan, AL with his wife Jean since 1969. They moved to Charlotte 10 months ago. Bob was born in Webster Groves, MO and spent his entire working career in the telephone industry. He retired from Verizon in 1986. Bob was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church in Dothan.

Bob is survived by Jean, his wife of 70 years. He is also survived by his four children: daughter Barbara Wilkerson (Jim) of Charlotte, NC, son David Boettger (Jill) of Salt Lake City, UT, daughter Karen Dawson (Scott) of Vacaville, CA, daughter Mary Meacham (Ralph) of Marietta, GA, seven grandchildren and one great grandson.

A memorial Mass will be officiated by Father Hanson of St. Matthew Catholic Church at 10 am on August 24th at Waltonwood Providence Assisted Living in Charlotte.
