Robert Bobby C. Holland

Bobby, a native of Walhalla, SC, was born on July 4, 1949. He was a graduate of Tri-County Tech and was an employee of Duke Power for over 30 years.

He was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and the Wade Sunday School Class, and a very active worker at NarroWay Productions. He loved his many friends and enjoyed volunteering his skills to help others. Bobby was a loving husband and devoted step-father, brother, and uncle. He will be missed by so many, but his generous spirit and graciousness will live on within us.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Jeanette Holland of Walhalla, SC, and his father-in-law, Rev. Edgar Dupree of Carthage, NC.

Bobby is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Phyllis; step-son, Timothy Eanes of Mt. Holly, NC; brother, Harold Holland and wife, Paula, of Fayetteville, GA; sister, Carolyn Burns and Husband, Ronney, of Seneca, SC; mother-in-law, Susie Dupree of Cathage, NC; sister-in-law, Shirley McCaskill and husband, James, of Rockingham, NC; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 6050 Hickory Grove Road, Charlotte, NC, 28215, with visitation being held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Mt. Holly. Donations in memory of Bobby may be made to NarroWay Productions, 3346 Highway 21, Fort Mill, SC, 29715.
