Lola, what I will remember most about Robert is his great smile, and his willingness to help or come to the rescue of anyone who needed help.  He had a big heart and I'm sure  his passing has left a huge hole in yours. I hope the many wonderful memories you have of your life together will help fill that hole in your heart - at least a little bit.  Hugs from one of your 'British' California neighbors.

Lola,
We are saddened by Bob's passing. We fondly remember many conversations we had over the fence or between our garages while we were neighbors. We will never forget Bob's compassion for our neighbor Glenda when her health was waning. His smile and kindness will be lasting memories that we will cherish. - Bob & Tricia Hayden

Bob & I met shortly before he retired from Boeing in Los Angeles.  He had an infectious personality.  If he wasn't telling a story, he was planning a lunch date to ensure he could continue the conversation.  He had the ability to make you laugh, and engage you in countless conversations.  Once in a lifetime you meet a soul that fills your heart with joy.  Bob was that person.  I regret we never had the opportunity to visit with him and Lola in North Carolina.  I will miss my friend Bob and our countless conversations, but I know he is enjoying the afterlife and making new friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.  May your memories bring you comfort.

I am sure Robert is telling a great story and making everyone laugh by now. I enjoyed his sense of humor and I will miss his witty conversations. Lola, may God bless you with amazing strength during the silent moments. Going to miss my friend Bob as he was a good friend and co-worker in Facilities at both Rockwell Downey and Boeing Downey.Huntington Beach.  I will always remember his ribbing and kidding around.  Miss you my good friend and God has gained another awesome individual.

I enjoyed my time with Bob while at Boeing early in my career.  He was always able to put a smile on my face with his humor and positive attitude.  He made me laugh and I learned a lot from him.  He will be missed.

I had the pleasure of sharing an office with Bob and when Bob was around there was never a dull moment.  Bob always had an opinion and lots of life experiences he would share with me.  I will never forget Hardworking Bob.  May the good Lord bless him and his family.

Have not seen Bob in a long time but he was good guy. God Bless you!
