Robert John Trent

John lived in Matthews, NC. He was the son of the late Robert Newman Trent. He was preceded in his passing by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William Phillips, Mr. and Mrs. William Trent and his beloved brother Ronald Trent.

He is survived by his mother Marilyn Trent of Matthews. His brother Mr. Brad Trent, his wife Janet and nephew Chris of Fishkill NY. His brother Mr. Kevin Trent, his wife Jill and niece Tiffany of Stallings. His brother Mr.Steven Trent of Matthews.

John was an avid sports follower especially baseball. He was a veteran of four years in the the navy. John was a graduate of Campbell University as well as a graduate of the Appalachian school of law. John will always be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor. John will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends.

Services will be held at 1:00p.m., Monday, July 23 at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd., Charlotte. Pastor Richard Runge is presiding over the services. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
