

Ronald Lynn Knight, a cherished resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on December 15, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on April 12, 1961, Ronnie was known for his hard-working, humorous, and generous nature. He was a kind-hearted, adventurous, and loyal individual, whose bravery and devotion were admired by all who knew him. Ronnie was a wise and cherished figure in the lives of many.
Ronnie grew up in Talbott, Tennessee, where he attended school and graduated from Morristown Hamblen High School West. He is survived by his brothers, Dale, Wayne, Gary, and Terry. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his sister Kathy and his parents, Hugh and Anna.
In his professional life, Ronnie was an HVAC technician, renowned for his exceptional skills and knowledge. He owned his own company for several years and was known for his mechanical inclinations.
Ronnie was married to his devoted wife Anita. He is survived by his children, Brandon (Jessica), Emily (Jordan), Justin, and Brittany (Hondro). He was a loving grandfather to his beloved grandchildren, Lucas and Olivia Knight, and Jacob, Madison, and Analeigh Eller.
Ronnie had a passion for working with his hands, particularly enjoying building cars and anything with wheels. He loved the outdoors, whether it was the mountains or the beach.
He was actively involved in New Vision Church, serving wherever he was needed. Ronnie was actively involved in various hobbies with his children. He was always ready to help friends and community businesses to offer advice or service.
He is going to be greatly missed by his family and friends and all those who knew him.
