

Born in Atlantic City, NJ on April 18, 1946, he was a son of Walter Crowther Morrow and Eleanor Palmer Morrow. After serving in the U.S. Army from 1965-1969 as a Military Intelligence Image Interpreter, Ron moved to Charlotte and graduated from UNCC. He worked at LUWA Corporation for several years; then as a business analyst until retirement. He and his wife enjoyed traveling extensively and checking many items off their bucket list.
Ron is survived by his wife, Marion Berryhill (Conklin) Morrow; his children, Scott Conklin, Lara Romack and her husband Alan, and bonus daughter, Amelia Old and her husband Tim; one brother, Dr. Robert Morrow and wife Linda from Houston, Texas; and nephews, Douglas and Bruff Morrow and their families. His greatest joy was being grandfather to his five grandchildren: Caroline and Alex Romack, Harlow Conklin, and Sophia and Joshua Old.
He was preceded in death by his parents and will be sorely missed.
A celebration of Ron’s life will be held Saturday, September 27 at Harry & Bryant Company, 500 Providence Road. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by the service at 2:00 pm. Inurnment with military honors will be held at Steele Creek Presbyterian Columbarium.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Humane Society, or a charity of your choice.
