Ruby Lois Hinson Wilcox passed away on January 15, 2012 at White Oak Manor of Waxhaw. She is survived by her husband, Elwood Wilcox, who resides at White Oak; and her sisters, Dixie Hinson Spencer of Kannapolis, NC and Frances Hinson Mungo of Pageland, SC. Libby Harriette Helms was her only child. Mrs. Wilcox is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Cornel D. Hinson and Susie Mae Horne Hinson; brothers, Butch Hinson and Gene Hinson, all of Pageland, SC; and a sister, Veatrice Hinson Underwood, of Charlotte, NC.
Services will be private after which the body will be interred at Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte.
