Russell Honeycutt

Russell was born and raised in Lenoir, NC. He lived most of his adult life in Charlotte, NC, where he married Annette Helms Honeycutt. They were blessed with 26 years as husband and wife. Russell was the proud father of 17 year-old twins, Taylor and Trevor.

Russell worked for 15 years at Potts Hardware where he made many treasured friendships.

Russell had a passion for life and for the Lord. He was a long-time member of Christ the King Church where he passionately shared his wonderful singing voice as a member of the vocal team.

In addition to his wife, Annette, and beautiful children, Taylor and Trevor, Russell is survived by his loving parents, Floyd and Nancy; his loving sisters, Candy Honeycutt Duffy(Jimmy) and Vickie Honeycutt Smith (Terry) along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of treasured friends.

Go rest high on that mountain Russell. We will treasure your memory forever.

A celebration of Russell’s life will be held Saturday, October 24th, at Christ the King Church, 13501 York Road, Charlotte, NC 28278. Visitation will be from 2-3 PM with service at 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made be made to Christ the King Church, vision fund, or to Annette to contribute to Taylor and Trevor’s college fund.
