Sallie Sneed Purpur, 64, of Charlotte, died peacefully on April 12, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born on January 2, 1953 in Charlotte, a daughter of the late Houston Sneed and Sophia Howell Sneed.
She is survived by her son Robert Sexton III, wife Cindy and her grand daughter Carmelita Sexton. Two nephews David Sneed and James Sneed.
Visitation will take place at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 beginning at 11:00am. Funeral Service will follow beginning at 12:00pm. Interment will take place at Antioch Church Cemetery.
