

Lee was born on April 21, 1948, in Savannah, Georgia. He spent his summers in Savannah but lived in Charlotte, North Carolina.
He went on to CPCC and graduated from UNCC. He later became a retail manager for K-Mart. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others.
But more than anything, Lee was a devoted father. He loved spending time with his children. He was always there to offer guidance, support and encouragement, no matter what challenges they faced. In his free time, Lee enjoyed astronomy, gardening, and family history.
Lee is survived by his loving wife Karen; children Samuel III (Marissa), Jacob (Erin) and Andrew; grandchildren Emmy and Jonah. Lee also leaves behind his siblings, David Killian, Mary Bowman (David), Carl Killian, Steve Killian, and Fred (Elisha) Killian and a host of cherished nieces and nephews. Lee was preceded by his parents Samuel Lee Killian Sr. and Carlyn Kraft Killian and brother Ron (Brenda) Killian.
His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 11am on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Fox & Weeks chapel, located at 4605 Highway 80E in Savannah, with burial immediately following at Greenwich Cemetery, located at 330 Greenwich Road in Savannah.
